Apply for a Cobra Youth Scholarship

Ages four through twenty six who live in Plano or the North Dallas area may apply. Priority goes to low income households, single parent families, youth facing challenging circumstances, and students who show commitment to growth in martial arts. There is no cost to families. Scholarships are fully donor funded.

How it works

Apply online through the Apply Now button. Applications are reviewed by a panel. Priority is based on order of application and need. If funds are limited, eligible applicants may join a waitlist.

Program expectations and renewal

Scholarships are renewed each year based on regular attendance, positive behavior, and steady effort in school so students stay on track on and off the mats. Parent involvement is welcome but not required.

Coverage

Scholarships cover training tuition at Cobra BJJ, uniforms and gear, mentorship, and tournament support when it is appropriate. When there is need, the program may also help with transportation or tutoring. Everything is free to families.
